When you give gratitude some latitude, you begin to expand your capacity for thankfulness. Instead of being thankful for just the obvious things, you begin to notice and appreciate the small details of everything around you. Today was a day filled with many mindful moments. They brought such a sense of joy and peace within our group. With the holidays coming, give yourself the gift of gratitude by taking the time to notice what truly touches your heart. Let the people around you know why you are so grateful for them and spend your time outdoors in the places you appreciate the most.
TODAY WE WERE GRATEFUL FOR....
* the beauty of the snow

*the people in Harrington who collected boughs so we could improve our shelter

*the animals who stay and adapt because they leave us clues about where they've been

*Grey Squirrel and all the great books and activities she shares with us

*the time to toboggan

*each other

Look at the photos below and see you can find other things you were grateful for today.
When I think about being at Nature school, I have a very long list of things I appreciate and look forward to. However, the one thing that is always at the top of my list is YOU!
I am very grateful for my Herons!
I wish you all a holiday filled with lots small discoveries that fill your heart with joy, wonder, and of course, gratitude.
See you in the new year,
Beaver
