Dipping into the pond!

Harrington in the fall is a wonderful play to wander. The Acorns & Oaks wandered to Cedar Hideaway again this week. It was exciting to see the colourful leaves and to hear the birds chirping their songs. It was another day to try out pond dip netting to see what lives in the water. Some were in the mud kitchen making soup or muffins in the mud kitchen. It was also a good day to look for worms. It can be hard to release those critters you find with your child but you can let them that where the critter was found is part of their home. If you have time, take the added step to 'tuck' that critter into a nice safe spot out of the way of being stepped on. How did your child like spending your time at Cedar Hideaway?
