A rainbow for inspiration!

It’s feeling and looking a lot more like spring at Stoneridge Farm! Today at Acorns & Oaks we explored using our hands, shared a couple of nets and collecting bins. We looked for more colours along the trails. Now in our third week, we are concentrating on learning the names of the familiar faces we’ve seen over the last few weeks.

It was good to see some Acorns swooshing using tools like nets and swishing the ‘right end’ of clothes pegs to make it open.. Giving them space and time is important to help them discover how to problem solve and complete the task at hand.

Both the Acorns & Oaks were creative in many ways today. Stories, songs, soups, drumming and even in communications are fun ways we can use our imagination while in a natural setting. Happy Trails until next week!
