Here’s to a great year! Hard to believe our adventures are coming to a close. Time to celebrate special guests, mentors and Turtle friends! Grey Squirrel read us Grizzly Dad which reminded us to also remember to celebrate our dads even if they get grumpy sometimes! Shhh! Keep your little card a secret until Fathers’ Day!
How were you feeling today? Hopefully not grumpy although the hot and sticky weather might have made you feel that way. Hopefully not for too long! So much to be thankful for and to explore!
After getting ourselves organized in and out of a little rain, we were off for a snack on the bridge and a chance to revisit our favourite places.

Time to leave a little something we can share with our guests later in the afternoon. Nature store, spa and of course monster trapping items were on the menu in Mystery Forest. Cedar Hideaway was the place for our Tic Tac Toe games. Later in the day it was also a big draw for crayfish observation! Butterfly Hill was a busy place for the artists in us. The tree friends looked amazing with their clay faces on display. Did you have a chance to visit with your tree friend? Hopefully you had enough time to say good-bye!
It was so nice to celebrate our summer birthdays, our visitors, our boat building guests (Dave and Paul) and all the families who were able to make it to our little ceremony and Harrington orientation. After some refreshing drinks and popsicles it was time to say good-bye.
On behalf of Dragonfly and Cardinal we would like to thank everyone! It was an honour to teach, learn about and explore with your children. Hope you will enjoy revisiting your memories of Coyote Nature School for many years to come! Enjoy looking at the photos and previous blogs. What were your favourite memories? Take some time to share them with friends and family. So much to celebrate!
