Now that it’s officially fall we can expect to see and feel some changes at Harrington Conservation Area. Stopping by to look more closely at the flowers along the trail, we found more than the flowers. We found bugs! Spiders, aphids, ladybugs to name a few. What else did you see? We moved rocks along the trail. We walked on uneven surfaces like roots and fallen trees. I remember a comment about the roots looking like a “Jelly Fish”. Do you remember some of the things your child said while they were exploring? How many leaves were in your leaf bouquet? Leaves falling on the ground are a sign of fall. We used the leaves from our leaf bouquet to make leaf rubbings on paper. What other things can you do or make with leaves this fall?
