Find the Joy!

ree

If someone were to ask you what brings you joy, how would you answer their question? Think about whether your joy involves more giving than receiving, more receiving than giving, or an equal amount of both. What if the question was "Where do you find joy?" If you were a Chickadee, one of the places would likely be Coyote Nature school! Take a look at all of the different ways we found joy today. Caution- smile alert ahead!

CLOSE ENCOUNTERS WITH THE WHITE STUFF

ree

What are your favourite things to do outside in the snow and what's something you would still like to try?

ENJOYING THE SLOPES

ree

Talk to your family about your best slide down the hill. Did you get a good push start or did one of the other Chickadees run down the hill pulling you? Be sure to describe any spectacular wipeouts you had along the way!

WORKING AS A TEAM

ree

Last week, the Homesteaders surprised us with all the improvements they made to the shelter at the Outpost including the benches they will be building for us to use. So today, it was our turn to leave a surprise for them. Next time they decide to have a fire down at Pine Haven, they won't have to go searching for kindling or firewood.

One good turn always deserves another!

MAKING NEW DISCOVERIES

ree

Was there anything you saw or did today that surprised you? Explain what Antman found when he opened up the galls on the Goldenrod plants.

MAKING DECORATIONS FOR OUR CHRISTMAS GIFT EXCHANGE

ree

Talk about which decoration you are working on and who you hope to give it too.

HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY TO CHIPMUNK!

ree

It's always fun when one of our Chickadee's birthdays falls on a day when we are all together. We hope that you enjoyed wearing your birthday bracelet today and that all of the wishes for each bead we gave you come true!

MORE COYOTE TIME!

ree

We all loved spending more time with Coyote today! She is always so much fun and makes us

all laugh. Thanks for all of the pushes at the top of the hill and for finding a creative way to make the feed bags work as sliders. You're the best and you bring so much joy to our time at Stoneridge!
