Kid Poet Society

It takes one to know one, and the St Marys Poetry Circle members proclaim that we are indeed poet's, the real thing! Our creations tell the story of our love for nature, friendships with the seasons, beloved pets, and the happiness it all brings us.

Today we put all that talent on display at the St Marys Station Gallery. Thank you to Cameron, for offering us the space, to Alizon and Joanne for the many conversations and actions to bring the children's work to our community, and all the Poetry Circle members who made bookmarks for the kids, baked cookies, copied out poems and mounted them on fancy paper or stood up and eloquently read the poems of children who couldn't come out.

To the kids who stood up behind the microphone and shared their beautiful words.....BRAVO! You did a fantastic job. It was awesome to have families and CNS mentors cheering you on.

Now, we invite everyone to take a stroll downtown St Marys during this month of April (Poetry Month) and you will see the Coyote Nature School poems proudly displayed in store windows.

It certainly feels like there will be many more poems inspired by this wonderful partnership.
