After a full year of chores, all of you have learned so much. Think about how your relationships with our farm animals has changed during the past year. When we first met the horses, ducks, chickens, and rabbits, many of us were still learning their personalities, routines, and needs. Now you know how to care for them, read their body language, and help to keep them healthy and happy.

Which animal do you feel most connected to? Take a moment to think about a favourite memory you have with one of our animals. It could be leading a horse, raising new ducklings or seeing our ducks and rabbits move into a new home. Come next week with a story to share!

Our wander at Pine Haven was a great adventure. Some of you may have gotten a little bit wetter than expected while exploring near the water! What signs of wildlife did you notice during our wander? Did you join in on Hawk's nature fact game? I otterly loved them! Can your remember one of the interesting facts you learned?

While building our obstacle course, some of you helped create a map while others got creative building different challenges and obstacles. The course is already taking shape, but there is plenty of room for new twists, turns, and challenges. What would you like to add next time we work on it?

We shared some kind words about the friendships we have been building here with the Homesteaders. Taking the time to notice the strengths, kindness, and efforts of others helps build a strong and caring community. Sometimes a few thoughtful words can brighten someone's entire day.
