Making Connections

A new year at nature school has begun for the Chickadees and with it comes many opportunities including the chance to make new friends as well as rekindle old friendships. These friendships can be with other children or adults as well as with the animals, insects, birds, plants, and trees that make Stoneridge Farm their home. It was exciting to end our day with the Nature Naming Ceremony! Each of us made a connection by choosing the name of an animal, bird, plant, tree or insect that has some of the same qualities we have. Be sure to tell your family some of the things that happened during the ceremony!

It was an exciting first day for everyone at nature school - including the animals and the crayfish! We certainly made many connections today and some new friendships have even started to bloom. A big thank you to all of those Chickadees who took the time to help someone else today!
