Reaching out!

It was farm animal day at Stoneridge Farm today! Of particular interest was the visit with the five horses. Did your child have a special connection with one of the horses? Do you remember the horse’s names? Sable, Jester, Albert, Gus or Libby
We also got to see the new ducklings. They were a little shy in their temporary outdoor pen. Did you notice the heater with food and water in the pen with them? The chicken and the Donald were out exploring the land and arena. Were you able to find them? Or did they find you?
Did your child reach out to you today? For a hand to hold, support or finding and sharing something with you? Spending time outdoors, whether it's sunny, rainy, or windy, offers valuable opportunities to explore nature and observe how it adapts to different weather conditions. It's also a wonderful chance to view the natural world through your child's eyes and witness their growth in new and exciting ways. I’m excited to see the ongoing changes at the farm and the development of the little 'Acorns' as spring temperatures rise and the program progresses! Happy Trails!
